The Writers' Room

About
The Writers’ Room is an independent Canadian comedy-of-fiction literary publication.

We publish weekly short-form humour, sci-fi, horror, absurdist, and speculative fiction under 1,000 words.
The Writers’ Room is published by Alan Wiebe, author of Saxophone Blues, the “television show” for books – a comedic fiction series that engages audiences in a uniquely episodic experience.
We publish content for people to read on their coffee breaks. While they’re on the bus. Or waiting for their appointments.
The Writers’ Room features aspiring and emerging writers. Send us your favourite stories of high strangeness. Most terrifying-ly terrible tales. And weirdest science-fiction word-streams.
We’re looking for anything that will make us laugh, cry, and briefly forget we exist in this ridiculous timeline.
